SmartMould Table (MT/K) is a mould service table with mechanical clamping brackets, designed for applications where our KM 120 magnetic brackets are not sufficient: heavy moulds operated with our proprietary HydroAssist System, tools with slides or springs, and anywhere the mould halves must be held firmly in place throughout the opening process — with zero risk of shifting.
The table builds on the proven foundation of the standard SmartMould Table (MT), retaining all its core advantages. A robust welded frame ensures exceptional rigidity, while a sliding platform running on linear guides with an end-position lock allows the mould to be separated smoothly and its interior accessed with ease. Both platforms rotate 360° and lock at 90° increments, giving the operator unrestricted access to every part of the tool. A precision ball bearing system guarantees fluid platform movement and effective transfer of lateral loads, enhancing both accuracy and operator comfort. A rubberised, oil-resistant shelf beneath the platforms provides convenient storage for tools and accessories needed during maintenance.
Mechanical fixing angles – precise control over the mold
The defining feature of the MT/K version is its mechanical clamping brackets. Sliding along the full length of the platform, they allow precise positioning to match the dimensions of any mould being serviced — whether smaller or larger. Once set, they are locked with Allen screws, creating a rigid, stable hold that neither loosens nor shifts even when opening heavy moulds.
Larger workspace thanks to extended platforms
The use of mechanical angles requires an appropriate workspace. In order to guarantee users comfort and the ability to freely operate molds of various dimensions, the SmartMould Table (MT/K) uses extended platforms (+150 mm). This solution applies to the table version with a load capacity of up to 4000 kg, providing an adequate storage surface despite the space occupied by the angles. Thanks to this, the user maintains the full functionality of the service station and the ability to work comfortably and precisely on injection molds.
Optional integration with HydroAssist System
The SmartMould Table (MT/K) can be optionally equipped with our proprietary HydroAssist System — a hydraulic assist for opening and closing heavy injection moulds. It is worth noting that when using HydroAssist, magnetic brackets may not provide sufficient clamping force: there is a risk of the mould halves sliding across the table during opening. The mechanical clamping brackets of the MT/K version eliminate this problem entirely — the mould stays firmly in place, with no risk of the halves shifting. HydroAssist further increases working efficiency, but is not required — the table is designed to perform equally well with or without it.
