SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile LOW VERSION
The low version of the SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile is an excellent option for companies looking for a compact, yet solid solution for servicing and maintaining injection molds. Thanks to its lowered design, the table can function as a stand-alone product, while also working great in combination with work tables equipped with hydraulic height adjustment. This allows for flexible adjustment of the workstation to the needs of operators, providing them with convenient and safe access to tools and molds.
SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile Version Design
In the standard version of the SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile, the solid, welded frame guarantees optimum stability and safety during service and maintenance of injection molds. One platform remains stationary, while the other moves along linear guides with a lock in the end position, making it easy to extend the mold and access its interior. Both platforms can be rotated 360° and locked every 90°, allowing free work on each tool element.
Thanks to thick, heat-treated support plates made of high-quality steel, the table maintains high resistance to deflection under full load, while at the same time being characterized by a long service life. The ball bearing system in the plates allows smooth rotation of the platforms and effective transfer of transverse loads. Additionally, there is a rubberized, oil-resistant shelf under the platforms, ideal for storing tools and accessories.

Configuration options and future expansion of the SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile
When choosing the SmartMould Table (MT) LowProfile in the standard version without mechanical angles, it should be remembered that in the future it will not be possible to mount them. This is due to the lack of the necessary CNC machining, necessary to create appropriate mounts and guides on the table platform, in which the mechanical angles can work stably. Therefore, it is worth considering in advance whether additional mold protection will be needed in the future (e.g. when opening the tool or removing cores).
HydroAssist System and the choice of angles
If we plan to use the HydroAssist System – a hydraulic support system with a double-sided actuator and a manual pump – the magnetic angles may not provide sufficient pressure when opening heavy injection molds. There is then a risk that the mold halves will slide on the table, which will make it difficult to safely and precisely unfold the tool. In such a configuration, it is advisable to use mechanical angles, of course provided that the table (MT) has already been factory-prepared for their assembly and guidance.
